Initially I was directed toward pharmacovigilance and quickly realised how impactful the space is. Working with professionals whose day-to-day decisions directly affect patient safety, while also protecting enormous commercial investments for pharmaceutical companies, was incredibly compelling. Life sciences combines purpose with complexity, an industry where the stakes are high, and that makes it both challenging and rewarding.
“Create win/win situations and communicate them clearly as early as possible.” That principle has shaped how I approach leadership and commercial negotiations. If all parties understand the value and alignment from the outset, deals move faster, relationships last longer, and trust builds naturally.

Outside of work, what’s something people might be surprised to learn about you? I’m from Glasgow and, like most people back home, a massive football fan. I’m never happier than watching or playing football with my son and spending time with my family. I’ve also lived in four different countries, which has shaped how I view culture, communication, and global business.
The people, colleagues, clients, and candidates. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some exceptional people, and it’s been a genuine pleasure to see individuals grow and develop over the years. I also enjoy that no two days are the same. One day might involve strategy, the next could be solving a complex problem or supporting colleagues with something specific. The variety keeps it engaging.
